Jason Hicklin: Etching

This workshop explores all aspects of intaglio etching, including softground, hardground and sugarlift aquatint. Jason’s emphasis is on creative results and professional studio practice. Several techniques featured on this course are similar to those employed by Thomas Gainsborough.

Jason Hicklin creates beautiful and atmospheric etchings based on the British landscape and is an enthusiast for all matters connected to etching. Trained at Central St Martin’s School of Art, Jason’s work is prized by both public galleries and private collectors.
