A popular course, ideal for experiment with a printmaking method that does not require presses or chemicals and which can easily be practised in a home studio. Working on soft wood blocks, students can achieve the typical subtle colour effects of this process.

Jude Lockie is a specialist in the art of Japanese Woodblock printing. Working in Japan with masters of this fascinating technique, has informed and inspired Jude’s printmaking practice.
