Michael Carlo’s strong landscape based woodcuts feature expressive cutting into hardboard or ply. His approach is painterly and experimental. Michael’s enthusiasm for mark making combined with his technical expertise help students achieve inspiring individual results.

Michael Carlo has led many successful courses at the workshop. Educated at the Royal College of Art, his prints focus on the landscape around his home in Suffolk.
