Michael Carlo’s strong landscape based woodcuts feature expressive cutting into hard board or ply. His approach is painterly and experimental. Michael’s enthusiasm for mark making combined with his technical expertise have helped students achieve some very inspiring individual results.
Michael Carlo has led many most successful courses at the workshop. Educated at the Royal College of Art, his prints focus on the landscape around his home in Suffolk.
