Monotype with Susan Jones

A three day workshop with Susan Jones exploring the many exciting possibilities of Monotypes. From transfer drawing, subtractive and painterly methods, surface texture, found objects, ghost and shadow printing, use stencils and layering to make unique eclectic and vibrant images. A lovely three days with endless outcomes! Suitable for those new to printmaking as well as the more experienced.

Susan’s abstract prints are inspired by the surrounding landscape and are infused with a sense of mystery, vitality, colour and space.Her Monoprints or Monotypes, are unique pieces constructed of many layers. Susan worked as Lead Tutor and Studio Manager at The Curwen Print Study Centre for seventeen years.

The course fee is £230 or £210 for Print Workshop members.
