of Gainsborough's House
You can support the work of Gainsborough's House by becoming a friend for as little as £20 a year. For this small payment you can visit the House free of charge during normal opening hours. You will be invited to Private Views, outings and talks, receive the newsletter On the House and know that you are supporting one of the best small museums in Britain. Joint Friends pay just £30.Friends who wish to use the Print Workshop pay a small extra charge (£20 subscription plus £25 for Print Workshop use) and joint friends who use the workshop pay £30 plus an extra £40 as a user. The equipment is demonstrated to new subscribers by the Technician and Printmakers with some experience have access to the Workshop during normal opening times.
Schools, colleges and universities are also invited to join and they pay just £40 a year. The subscription includes free entry for all pre-booked groups, an information pack for teachers which includes worksheets, and regular mailings about exhibitions and events.
