Courses
Evening Classes, Summer Courses, Saturday Master classes and other courses are
organised on an on-going basis. One-off sessions at a general or specialist level can be arranged for schools and
other groups. Around twenty can be accommodated for demonstrations, twelve for hands-on work. For more information

Evening Classes
The evening classes are designed to serve as an introduction for newcomers to printmaking and they also
allow those with some experience to build on their skills. There are two courses one on Tuesday and one on
Wednesday 7.30 to 9.30 pm organised in three
ten-week terms.
Tuesdays with Caroline Wendling
Each term is dedicated to one technique which will be taught in a structured way so that students gains
confidence enabling them to use the workshop on their own.
Wednesdays with Belinda King
This course includes screen printing, etching. collography and relief printing. Techniques will be
introduced and demonstrated at the
beginning of each term but students may work in their chosen medium at their own pace.
Summer Courses
The summer courses provide the opportunity to spend five days making prints in a
very special environment under expert instruction. The courses are intensive and aim to give students a thorough
grounding in the particular technique. With no more than eight enrolled on each course, students receive plenty of
individual attention and both beginners and those with previous experience will benefit. Specialist equipment and
materials are provided: all students need bring is some basic drawing materials (pencils pens crayons) a selection
of brushes, a craft knife, and most importantly, sketch book full of ideas.
Children's Courses
A Saturday Club for children is being developed which will involve activity in
the print workshop as well as exciting projects based on exhibitions, the collections and the garden. Further
details will be announced shortly.
