GAINSBOROUGH'S HOUSE REVIEW
In September each year Gainsborough's House Society, which owns the House and its
collections, publishes a report about its activities.
The report contains an illustrated list of the Society's acquisitions and includes
articles by leading authorities concerning aspects of Gainsborough's life and work.
The Review was first published as the Annual Report (ISSN 0960 8176) and
has become the vehicle for new research into Gainsborough, his work and his associates.
It is an essential research tool for any specialist working in the eighteenth century.
